The new D-View™ VL-40 represents a quantum leap in LCD flat panel display technology. It boasts the highest resolution currently available, 1920 x 1080 (1080p). This model is ideal for those who desire our acclaimed flat panel performance in a smaller size than offered with our plasma lineup.

This full featured display includes an internal ATSC high definition TV tuner, as well as a 185 channel, cable-ready NTSC standard television stereo tuner, making it capable of receiving every type of standard and HDTV signal right out of the box. It is also fully multimedia capable for internet browsing, computer gaming and other activities.

The pictures look stunning, thanks to our exclusive Imagix™ internal video processing. Of course, the VL-40 is engineered to ISF™ calibration standards for the purist video performance and the elegant, high tech finish is a beautiful, high gloss pewter metallic.

Integrated into the VL-40 is a high quality stereo audio system with surround sound technology and high performance two-way removable speakers placed below the screen.

Discrete aspect ratio control includes our IntelliWide™ mode for filling the 16:9 screen with 4:3 program material without picture degradation. For custom installation integration, discrete source selection, power selection and an RS-232 interface are also included to accommodate whole-house and automated control systems.
